Equestra quieted the dancing three year old mare. She was skittish, but not a maniac. Like all young horses, she had way too much energy. Equestra fervently hoped Azrael would be able to handle the mare and complete her training so she could move on to the two year olds ready for ground work. This one had been taking up way too much time.
"Well girl." she fondly, rubbing the horse's face. "She should be here any minute..." _________________ Those who try their best are never at their worst.

Finally, after waiting for what seemed like ages, Equestra came to the realisation that the woman was never going to show.
"I guess I'm going to have to find another human to help me with you." she told the mare fondly, rubbing an itchy spot behind her ears. "We'll get it figured out, though. Don't you worry."
With that, she put the mare out into the pasture in the warm night air and returned to her house.
Azrael had failed her evaluation by reason that she never showed up for it.
